Cleaner Contractor Agreement
This agreement applies to approved cleaners who provide services through MopMob. It is accepted during cleaner onboarding and forms part of the platform terms.
Last updated: 2026-05-21
Status and no guarantee of work
- You apply to provide services as an independent contractor, not as an employee of MopMob.
- MopMob does not guarantee work, hours, earnings, routes, clients, or repeat assignments.
- You can decline jobs that are offered to you. MopMob can choose whether to offer, assign, approve, reject, pause, or remove jobs based on availability, eligibility, quality, client needs, safety, and platform rules.
Right to work, identity, and eligibility
- You must provide accurate identity, right-to-work, address, contact, availability, and eligibility information.
- You must tell MopMob immediately if your right to work, insurance, DBS status, identity document, address, phone, email, bank details, or eligibility changes.
- MopMob may require documents, re-checks, approval steps, or manual review before or after assigning work.
Substitution
You may propose a substitute only if they are legally entitled to work, appropriately skilled, insured where required, approved by MopMob before the job, and able to follow MopMob client, safety, confidentiality, evidence, and platform rules. You remain responsible for the substitute's performance unless MopMob agrees otherwise in writing.
Standards and job evidence
- You must follow the job brief, checklist, client requests, safety instructions, access instructions, and reasonable MopMob quality standards.
- You must check in, check out, mark tasks accurately, use Not Applicable where appropriate, upload requested photos or notes unless the client has opted out, and report access, damage, missing items, hazards, or blockers promptly.
- You must not mark tasks complete if they were not completed. If a task cannot be completed, you must explain why.
- You must treat client homes, keys, codes, belongings, data, and neighbours with care and confidentiality.
Pay, approval, and deductions
- Cleaner earnings are calculated using the applicable hourly rate, job duration rules, approved adjustments, and the portal records.
- Payouts require admin approval and may be delayed while MopMob reviews disputes, missing evidence, suspected fraud, failed access, complaints, or policy breaches.
- You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, expenses, equipment, insurance, and registrations unless MopMob confirms otherwise in writing.
- MopMob may correct clear errors, reverse duplicate payments, or set off sums owed where allowed by law and contract.
Equipment, safety, and insurance
- You must work safely, use suitable products and equipment, and follow legal and manufacturer requirements.
- You must not work where the property is unsafe, access is unlawful, a person behaves abusively, or the job presents a serious risk. Report it immediately.
- You must maintain any insurance, checks, licences, or training required for the work you accept.
Confidentiality and data protection
- You must keep client, property, access, job, pricing, report, photo, and personal data confidential.
- You must use MopMob data only for assigned work, never save or share access codes or client photos outside approved tools, and delete local copies when no longer needed.
- You must immediately report lost devices, accidental disclosure, suspicious access, or any data/security incident.
Conduct
- You must not harass, discriminate, steal, damage property, falsify records, misuse keys or codes, contact clients outside authorised channels, or subcontract work without approved substitution.
- You must not use MopMob, Mopster, chat, photos, or reports to mislead clients, hide issues, or create false evidence.
Quality review and disputes
MopMob may review photos, notes, checklists, location data, client comments, Mopster-assisted analysis, and admin observations to assess job quality, complaints, and payments. You can provide notes, corrections, and evidence if you disagree with a finding.
Ending this agreement
Either side may end this agreement by written notice. MopMob may immediately suspend or end access for serious misconduct, safety issues, fraud, data misuse, legal risk, poor quality, repeated no-shows, or breach of this agreement.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. It does not remove rights or duties that cannot legally be excluded.
