Platform Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use MopMob's website, portal, APIs, MCP tools, Mopster support, booking services, reports, and related cleaning-management features.

Acceptance

By creating an account, booking a clean, connecting a calendar, using the portal, using Mopster, or accessing MopMob APIs/MCP tools, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use MopMob for an organization, partner, landlord, host, or managed client, you confirm you are authorised to bind them.

Our role

MopMob provides a cleaning-management platform, operational support, booking workflows, reporting, Mopster-assisted support, and cleaning services delivered by MopMob staff or approved independent cleaners. We may change workflows, providers, or operational methods where needed to deliver or protect the service.

Accounts and security

  • You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and tell us promptly about unauthorized access.
  • Organization owners are responsible for members, impersonation/switching activity, managed client records, API keys, OAuth grants, and integrations under their account.
  • You must not share API keys, abuse OAuth access, scrape the service, bypass rate limits, or use MopMob data for unlawful or unsafe purposes.
  • You must not interfere with cookie, consent, security, fraud-prevention, payment, or analytics controls used to operate and protect the service.

Bookings, access, and property information

  • You are responsible for providing correct property addresses, access details, parking information, safety warnings, supplies expectations, calendar URLs, and client requests.
  • If a cleaner cannot access the property, the property is unsafe, the job is materially different from the booking, or the booking details are wrong, we may cancel, reschedule, charge reasonable fees, or limit the work to what is safe and achievable.
  • Estimated durations, checklists, Mopster plans, and arrival windows are operational estimates, not guarantees, unless we confirm a fixed commitment in writing.

Prices, payment, and invoices

  • Prices shown in the portal or checkout apply to the selected booking details. Additional work, materially different property conditions, failed access, or urgent changes may require extra charges.
  • Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment processor we approve. We do not store full card numbers in MopMob systems.
  • Invoices, receipts, refunds, and credits may be handled through Stripe-hosted pages, portal records, or admin-approved adjustments.

Cancellations and refunds

  • Subject to mandatory consumer rights, cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled start are non-refundable because cleaner time, routing, and operational capacity have already been reserved.
  • Admin may approve a goodwill refund, credit, or partial refund at MopMob's discretion where the circumstances justify it.
  • Where mandatory law gives a cooling-off or cancellation right, these terms do not remove it. If you ask us to begin or complete a service during a cooling-off period, you may be required to pay for work already performed and may lose cancellation rights once the service is completed.

Photos, reports, and Mopster review

  • MopMob may ask cleaners to capture before/after photos, notes, location evidence, checklists, and issue evidence to protect clients, cleaners, and MopMob and to create clean reports.
  • Reports, Mopster analysis, translations, checklists, and Mopster responses are support tools. They may be incomplete or incorrect and do not replace human review where a material issue, refund, dispute, safety concern, or legal issue is involved.
  • If a client refuses job photos or evidence, MopMob may require a waiver or may limit complaint handling because evidence is unavailable.

Mopster, APIs, MCP, and integrations

  • Mopster and connected assistants may help users book cleans, check status, inspect reports, list invoices, create properties, connect iCal URLs, and escalate issues only when the user has the required permissions.
  • Integrations must use authorised scopes, follow rate limits, protect data, and avoid misleading users about what MopMob can do.
  • Partner-owned client records are for operational separation, billing references, analytics, and support. Partners remain responsible for ensuring they have authority to share and manage their clients' information.

Cookies and advertising measurement

Our Cookie Policy explains the cookies, local storage, service-worker storage, analytics, and advertising measurement technologies used by MopMob. Optional analytics and marketing cookies are used only where enabled and, where required, after consent.

Cleaners and independent contractors

Cleaners who apply through MopMob must accept the Cleaner Contractor Agreement. Client use of MopMob does not create an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship with any cleaner.

Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, MopMob is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of rent, loss of business opportunity, loss caused by inaccurate user-provided information, third-party platform failures, or events outside our reasonable control.
  • For paid services, MopMob's aggregate liability for a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking unless the law requires otherwise.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where needed to protect users, cleaners, properties, MopMob, payment systems, legal compliance, security, or service integrity. You may stop using the service at any time, but outstanding fees, disputes, and legal duties remain.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
